28th Square

Helleeeew!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday! We had a great weekend, attended a beautiful wedding and fun reception (red velvet wedding cake, yum!!) and then had an easy peasy Easter Sunday with the family, topped it off with a nap, a Julie Andrews double feature (Marry Poppins & The Sound of Music), dinner with Sean, and finished the evening stitching up a new square to share with you all. Ahhh... A great weekend, but it came and went so fast! So not fair, those are the moments to savor, but which also seem to go the fastest... boo.

So! Here we go, square number 28 comin' at'cha!
I'd be nothing without them... I love my peeps!

Wow, this project is going fast now that we're nearing the end! I'm hoping to complete two squares tonight, then there are only three left!! THREE LEFT!!! ....Crazy. I've gotten used to chatting with you all on an almost daily basis. I'll have to find a way to keep that up. Not that I'm ever left for anything to say, as you may have noticed, I'm a bit of a chatter box. Ah well, I've had some other things in the hopper, and now I can start sharing those with you too. Are you guys sick of squares wany way?? Heehee, I hope I haven't been to dreadfully boring this last month :o)

Anyhoo, off to whip up some dinner and a quick walk with the doggies!
Toodle~doo!

p.s. One more thing to share, look at my brother and his beautiful family! This was right after the wedding ceremony of our friend Justin, Greg was a groomsman and Josiah an usher. I wanted to get a good family portrait of them whilst they were dressed up all fancy~schmancy.
Pay no attention to the little moster in the front row... he was D.O.N.E. having his picture taken for the day... meh, he's seven, a kid can only take so much. He's still a cutie pie to me! Tra~la!!

See you tomorrow!

Helleeeew! I've gotta' tell ya'-- I love your writing style. It always makes me smile because it's so conversational! I love it!
I'm kind of bummed that the squares are coming to an end soon. I've had so much fun with this project and everyone's squares have been so inspirational! I'm running behind on my squares-- hoping to get some stitching done, now that my company has moved to their next destination!
Hugs,
Jill

I can't wait to see your whole piece finished, Lisa. I love your needlework...tiny, perfect stitches and great ideas for each of your squares.
What a sweet photo of your sister's family, too!
Have a great week!

I have really enjoyed seeing all the squares you make! And I hope you will continue to post regularly, even after that embroidery challenge is over. Maybe we will find a new project to do! :-)
Your family portrait is wonderful! It's good to remember our children the way they really are in life, not like a statue.
