It's time for a super fabulous mystery giveaway!
Why? Because YOU'RE rad! Yes, you!!
Since starting this little blog-o-mine, I've met some of the sweetest, most creative and generous people on the planet. Some of us met here, some on Swap-bot and some on Flickr. And I want you to know, I think you all rock! Some of us have become friends, and I treasure that. Having friends who share a passion for creating and who are so encouraging is priceless! I've loved sharing my little creative bits with you guys and your comments and advice are so appreciated and always make me smile. Each and every one is a gift.
Having reached 100 (woo! 104!!!) new friends (not followers, that's just weird) I think it's time to thank you guys, to celebrate and to gift a little something back, ooooh yeah!
Let's see... (thoughtfully tapping chin) me thinks this giveaway will consist of several goodies!
♥ Something stitchy, naturally. ♥
♥ Something tea-lightful, of course. ♥
♥ Something tasty, yum-yum! ♥
And whatever else strikes my fancy! I promise, you will not be disappointed!
What, no pictures you ask? Well then it wouldn't be a mystery, silly!
Since I'm easy-peasy, no fuss, no muss kinda gal, I'm going to keep this simple. All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this post. If you want, you can tell me what your favorite thing about fall is (just cuz that's my favorite season, and because I'm a nosy little bugger).
And hey, if you're new here it's cool, welcome aboard!! Please feel free to join in the fun! Jump right in and leave me a comment, I love new friends! If you want to click that little button over there and follow along, that's cool too. I do my best to try to keep things interesting around here!
I'm going to leave this giveaway open til December 5th, then I'll draw a name out of my great big Jadeite bowl and announce the winner here on the blog. Lots of time to tell your friends and neighbors and maybe even your own followers if you'd like, the more the merrier!
I'm really excited about this you guys, let the comments begin!!
oxo,
Lisa
p.s. Jill, I totally borrowed the name "Fabulous Mystery Giveaway" from you. That was just too cute, and I couldn't help myself. oxo!

Hmmmm... my favorite thing about fall. It's hard to narrow it down. Fall is my favorite season. I love the crisp change in the weather, and how it signals to me that the holidays (and birthday, hee hee) are near. Love it!
Hugs,
Jill
We don't have fall...hee hee ...just Autumn here in Australia :) The best thing about it? No hayfever of course! And cool nights and warm days, crispy leaves and warm cups of tea between my hands...mmmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteWe met while stitching away on 39 squares...and I'm ever so glad we did :)I love watching what you get up to, and your stitching is to-die-for!
Have a wonderful day xxx
Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI love autumn too - I love snuggling up with a blanket when it starts to get chilly, and I love bonfire night and I love playing in all the fallen leaves like I was a kid again!
Vixie
My favorite thing about fall is finally getting to wear sweaters and mittens!
ReplyDeleteHey Sweetie Pie!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so exciting, and having already won one of your giveaways myself (the very first I ever won by the way) I know how special a giveaway from you is...sooo I'm going to be a very selfish girl and jump right in for another chance to win again...I just can't help myself! :)
Fall and winter are my favorite seasons. I LOVE everything about them...just everything! The leaves, seeing your breath for the first time, the falling temps, all the holidays, and just the way it makes me feel...all happy inside and wanting to go outside to play! I could mumble on some more, but I see I'm already getting carried away!
Please, PLEASE throw my name into your pretty Jadeite bowl, and thanks so much Lisa! ...I'm going to tattle away in my sidebar now.
xoxo's Paulette ;)

I'm new to your blog but I absolutely love looking at your stitching! I pretty much just go around finding people who inspire me on the internet and you definitely fit that bill! So thank you. =)
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part of fall is probably that it means Christmas is right around the corner. And I love those few weeks in fall when all the colors outside just seem so much better!

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant giveaway - anticipation is always the best bit about being given a gift!
I'm not a fall fan as it's cold and wet and windy in England, but I do love making Christmas presents and the fact it's my birthday in fall.
I love the idea of a mystery giveaway!!! Who needs to know exactly what they are winning!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite thing about fall...........stripy scarves!!
Paulette, not really having a selfish bone in her body at all, posted about your giveaway on her blog, and liking the ME print I came over. Now I'm off for a mooch to see what you are up to ;)
ReplyDeleteOooh, a giveaway! :D Thanks for the encouragement and inspiration, Lisa! My favorite fall thing is the cooler weather...
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa:
ReplyDeletePam Kellogg's sister here. Saw your comment on her Kitty and Me blog about my Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffin recipe.
Thought I would visit your site. Very nice, very happy.
My favorite thing about fall, I don't think I can pick just one. I love the colors. The warm color pallet gives me so much creative inspiration. I just love all those fall recipes and because of the cooler temps, I find I spend more time in the kitchen baking, cooking, creating; as if I don't spend a lot of time in the kitchen already.
Just wanted to say hi and thanks.

Hi Lisa,
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a wonderful giveaway and I just love mysteries!!!
I'll gladly tell you what I love about Fall. The colors! I love the colors of the leaves this time of year. And I love baking and making soup!
Thank again for a fun give away!
Pam
Hey Nosy Little Bugger! I'm just getting ready to post a pic on my blog of my new (born in Feb.) niece's stocking I made for her for Christmas...so you'll have to come check it out!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Fall...it's great hiking weather and I can actually SEE birds of prey in the trees so I can try to take their photograph! :) I'm hoping to post of few of my recent finds on Winston's blog soon too!
You are such a Sweetie-Petey for hosting a giveaway!
Hugs! :)
Socks...I Love when it finally gets cold enough to wear socks. I Love when the trees turn every color of fall. I Love when the first rain washes away the dirt of summer & the air smells fresh & clean. And I Love attending the Renaissance Faires with my beautiful daughter.
ReplyDeleteFall's my favorite season -- by the middle of July I'm looking forward to September. I love wearing sweaters and tights and boots. I love brilliant orange, red, gold, and purple leaves. I love pumpkins and apples and apple cider (and hard cider). I love Halloween and that Christmas is coming. I love planning what ornaments and gifts I'm going to make. I love cool days and cooler nights. Best of all, I love the mix of melancholy and anticipation.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about your giveaway! What I love about the fall is the cool weather!! I live in Texas so the summer is just blazing hot and some days I feel like I'm melting so I just love the cooler weather! The changing leaves are nice too! :) OH I also love Pumpkins! I love anything pumpkin flavor so I love when the fall comes because I get my favorite pumpkin spice coffee creamer! yum yum. (sorry, if coffee is a blasphemous word on here)
Howdy!
ReplyDeleteAm I allowed to enter? Hee hee.
Well, my favorite thing about fall is the changing leaves. Unfortunately down here the leaves don't change. :-( Oh well, I'll just have to be sure to visit someplace each year where they do change. Another thing I love about fall is Halloween and pumpkins!! Luckily they have those two things down here or I'd be gone!
Anyhow, I love seeing all your creations. I always think of you when I walk past the sewing section at the craft store. The other day I almost bought an embroidery project at Michael's. I used to embroider with my mom when I was a kid. We made my 4th grade teacher this gorgeous table cloth and it wasn't all cross stitching! I have an idea of a gift to make for my friend, Meg. Maybe I'll pick your brain on how to get started.
xoxo

Surprises are fun! I guess I like fall, because I can finally wear much more handknits again.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of fall is getting to wear scarves and drinking peppermint mochas along with a slice of gingerbread loaf.
ReplyDeleteSo many things. Cooler weather, spiced tea, pumpkin pies, fresh crisp apples, pretty leaves, family gatherings and more.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway and especially that it will include a piece of your lovely stitchery.
Love your blog- tea & embroidery; two of my most favorite things!
ReplyDeleteThis time of year is my favorite- no more 100 degree days! You know you can always pull on another sweatshirt in the winter but in the summer you can be in your skivvies and still miserable.
This is such a fun giveaway! It would be a pleasure to win. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and have a great weekend, too! Twyla
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit of a crafty blog lurker...I love seeing all the creative things people do! I get so ambitious, I think WOW! I can do that...and I keep seeing new things, more projects to try, new people to meet, and then find out I have spent so much time on the internet that my crafting hours have flashed past me and it is time to start making dinner and... my hubby wants my time...
ReplyDeleteThanks for having the mystery giveaway!
I love mysteries and I love stitching, and I love give-aways. I also love fall but here in Illinois fall is certainly giving way to the dreariness that is between fall and winter snow. Besides the trees showing off their pretty colors, I love the smell of fall the best. As they say, it is "in the air."
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa, Fall is my favorite time of the year for traveling. Seeing the colors change. It is cool enough for a light jacket of a morning and afternoon you don't need one. It is also when I was married and we celebrated our 47th in October. It gets rid of the allergies. I just wish it could stay all year around.
ReplyDeleteHey just got back into things so can I be entered please.
ReplyDeleteGillx
Please enter my name into your great big jadeite bowl! I love that special blue sky that you only see in the fall, with the brightly colored leaves against it ... sigh ... so beeeeauuuutiful!
ReplyDeleteMargie

ReplyDeleteFall is my favorite time of year and I love the smell of the cold, fresh air. I also love that honeycrisp apples are finally in season. Yummy yum yummy. :)
