Sew Perfect...

I awoke to find a very cool email this morning, and I want to share! Jodi of Pleasant Home and Sew Picture Perfect has used one of my pictures on the Sew Perfect Blog this morning! That's so darn cool!!
Here's a link to the original post where I used this picture. Which incidentally, as I told Jodi this morning is also the desktop background on my home computer. I love those swirly, sherbety colors!

I hope your day is full of pleasant surprises too!

  2. Wow..what a GREAT screensaver. Too bad I do not have any jelly rolls to photograph. I especially like this selection of fabric. I went over and checked out the Sew Perfect Blog and there you were with your photo for all of us to see again. Congrats. That quilt is something else. I am trying to decide if I can do it. You sound pretty convincing so I may well give it a try.

  3. Lisa...I sent off the above comment before I finished...what I wanted to tell you was you and I both say the same thing....”It is just another learning experience"....but then I add..."the more I rip, the more I learn!” I’ve been following your blog for quite a while now, but somehow I missed this entry. When I got to the Sew Perfect Blog I also saw her version of the Pinwheel Quilt tutorial I followed and made last summer up there in her banner ...here is the entry and a photo of mine...

When I set out to make it, it was the first time I had used a jelly roll and the first time I had ever undertaken such a complicated project. The whole time I kept telling myself...It’s just another learning experience...be patient. And I did it, and it is my all time favorite!!!! It now hangs over my bed I love it so much. I know you are feeling the same way about your quilt....we both are wearing BIG smiles on our faces.

    Hugs again, Genie
